Love Is In The Air

Motion graphic video to help contestants in the SAS Airline "Love Is In The Air" promotion.

Written and animated by Andy Bydalek.

SAS Airlines was offering to host the first same-sex wedding in the air as giant promotional effort. Yep – they would marry two lucky lovebirds hundreds of miles above the earth as an unforgettable marriage ceremony! I was commissioned by a lovely couple to create a simple, elegant video for their contest submission.

I went with the ideas of air, lightness and romance...echoing the way time can slow down and life can feel suspended by the simple beating of your heart for someone.

My clients did not end up winning the context, but they loved the video nonetheless. And it works as a standalone piece to highlight how simple animation can be effective when paired with the right music and visual elements.
