Two actually: dry comedies and psychological thrillers.
Which art form do you prefer and why?
In reverse order: I love acting, but I really only do it as a fun hobby once in awhile. Photography is a really satisfying creative experience – I love it for its simplicity and immediacy. But at the end of the day, writing and directing films is my passion because I like to tell expansive visual stories with snappy dialog.

What are you working on now...as in RIGHT NOW?
Funny you should ask! I'm writing two pilots – a comedy web series and a one hour drama. Both plots are tightly under wraps, but let's just say that the Sundance Episodic Writing Lab showed a marked interest in the dramatic pilot...and that's exciting.
